Only one. A Protestant is a believer in Jesus Christ. Jesus established His church on earth and it was carried forward for about 1500 years until a theologian/priest named Martin Luther started the Reformation, due to his questioning of some Church practices. Stated differently, all Catholics, all Eastern Orthodox, and all Protestants believe in only one God. They each are Christian and each church holds its unique set of beliefs but all are monotheistic. By the way, since you did not ask, Judaism and Islam are also monotheistic religions. In fact Judaism begat Christianity which begat Islam, very simply put.
