Galaxies ARE groups of stars. Lots of stars though. Not just like 2 or 3...
constellations
The five main groups of stars are main sequence stars, giant stars, supergiant stars, white dwarf stars, and neutron stars. These groups are classified based on their size, temperature, and stage in their life cycle.
A small group of stars is a cluster or a constellation of stars.
There are many"groups of stars" that are given names:Massive groups of stars get called nebulae or galaxies and generally only known by the group name.Clusters are groups of stars that occupy a limited area like our own local cluster.Ancient peoples identified "images" in the sky which were formed by a few specific named stars, these were constellations.Scientists sort stars by a classification that rates their size and colour (examples : brown dwarf, blue giant etc) they may also be signed just a letter (O,B,A, F, G, K, M)
