That is not a number carved in stone. The way to figure it out, is to take your pulse for one full minute (to get as close as possible), and multiply that by 60. That is how many are in an hour. Then, multiply that by 24 to find the number of beats for one full day. Now, if you consider that your heart rate slows while you are resting or asleep, it will actually be more than the number of beats per day.
Most people are 10-20 bpm slower while resting/asleep. You could do the calculations for those hours you sleep, and then the other for the hours you are awake. If you want to, someone else can take your pulse.
Averaging 60-80 bpm x 60 minutes x 24 hours = 100,800 beats per day
Beats per minute x 60 minutes per hour x 24 hours per day
90 times per min
it would be about 40 or 48
60-80 heartbeats
At typical 60bpm 3600 per hr or 86,400 per day 80bpm 4800 per hr or 115,200 per day. Simple really
