God created only one heaven.

The Bible speaks of THREE heavens: "...I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven." (II Cor.12:2)

The "third heaven" is the heaven of the Father's throne -- "Paradise."

The "second heaven" is "outer space"... a vacuous place that's hostile to human existence... and a constant source of awe and wonder to man.

The "first heaven" is "within the earth's breatheable atmosphere"... where clouds are, and birds fly.
