"Hertz" has the units of [ 1/time ].

"Volt" has the units of [ mass x length2 / time2 x charge ].

If you'll focus on those two statements for a few seconds,

you'll notice that they're different. That means that those

quantities can't convert to each other.

A wall outlet supplies electrical energy at 120 volts, 60 Hertz.

If either of these numbers could be converted to the same units

as the other one, there would be no need to state both of them.

They'd simply be mashed together somehow into a single number.
