So long as the curtain is up across a 1.5 metre bath (or a near to that length as makes no difference) then the number of hooks required is approximately 1 every 20 cm of curtain, which works out at somewhere between 10 and 14. The material of the curtain and its vertical length can also make a difference - longer drop leads to more hooks required (usually at a shorther interval apart).
