yes, 6 hours is right! =)
6 hours
The typical time between high and low tide is about 6 hours.
About 12 hours and 25 minutes.
The duration between high tide and low tide is typically around 6 hours and 12.5 minutes.
6 hours and 32 minutes
The time between low and high tide typically ranges from 6 to 12 hours, but this can vary based on geographical location and other factors.
6 hours... at least that is what study island says. i hate that website.
According to my findings shoal cave changes either every 3 hours or 3 days keep going into shoal cave until the low tide is there. According to the Bulbapedia, it is every 6 hours that it is either hi tide or low tide.
12 hours
Usually the tides last about 6 to 7 hours then they become low tide or high.
On average, high tides are separated by about 12 hours and 24 minutes. The 12 hours is because of earth's rotation, and the 24 minutes is compensation for the movement of the moon. So low tides would be about half way through those 12 hour 24 minute periods.
The tidal period (length of time between successive high or low tides) is about 12 hours and 25.2 minutes, exactly half a tidal lunar day. Thus the period between the high tide and the low tide is 6 hours and 12.6 minutes. This means that if it was high tide at noon, the low tide will be at 12.6 minutes past 6 in the evening of the same day.
