I'm 16 years old now and I stay on the WestBank (Louisiana) and when I went to a interview at McDonalds, the Hiring Manager told me a 16 year old can only work 3-4 hrs a day, and if you work more you MUST take a break.... I know, it sucks because when you think about it, the most you'll get paid is $7.50, but, hey, it's better than nothing!
