You shouldn't run miles every single day....u should run a few days a week! At first u should run 3 or 4 dyas a week but add more days gradually as ur body gets used to it. U should prolly run 3 or 4 miles on the days that u do decide to run but don't run more than can handle. U should take walking breaks when u need to and drink water. To stop from injuring urself u should stretch b4 and after u run.

Unless youre in training for some specific event, there's no mileage you "should" run.

There's a general recommendation to be physically active - get your pulse up a bit, get a little sweaty - for one hour daily. No pressing need to run though. A brisk walk, swim, row, skate, ski, dance, split wood etc will all do equally well for your average health.

If you run daily than you should basically run until you cannot anymore. This is very difficult but true the first day be very honest and push it to the max, make a mental record of how far you ran. Say your breakdown point was 4 miles, run 4 miles everyday for that week, then next week move up to five. For some people this is very hard it is mostly determination, i have Asthma this is extremal difficult for me. Some tips would be running alone (it may seem stupid but you don't want to be made fun of or pushed to hard). But having a partner is good because they hold you to what your routine is, but make sure you have the guts to tell them if your truly unable to run like sick or injured. You might find running is very enjoyable, it gives you time to think, exercise and push yourself to failure.

More the weight you have more you should run and workout.

But everyone should run for atleast an hour a day.
