It will depend on what you are painting. 800 square feet of floor space with a roller would take about an hour to an hour and a half, though you can go faster if you really push it.
If you have to prep, mask off and cover floors to do ceiling or walls, as well as cut in with a brush, closer to an three hours. Each door or window adds about 15 minutes to the paint time. Each room involved will take another half hour or so. And you'll need another half hour for each paint color.
I've put up 18 gallons of paint in three days, which is about 7,200 square feet. That was drywall primer and two coats of paint. Three different colors plus the primer and ceiling white. And there was absolutely no masking to be done, no furniture, baseboards or floors to worry about. Just the cutting in of corners.

It is: 2200/400 = 5.5 and so 6 cans will be needed
2200/400 = 5.5 cans
Cans of paint needed: 2200/400 = 5.5 therefore 6 cans are needed
5.5 round it up to 6
2200 square units ÷ 400 square units/tin = 5 1/2 tins. If you had no paint, as you cannot buy 1/2 a tin, you would need to buy 6 tins.
Strangely enough, exactly one square metre!
If 169 is floor area, then you are talking about roughly 430 square feet of wall. I would paint that with a bit less than 2 gallons.
well are you looking to paint it yourself ,or have a painter paint it let me know then we can go from there thanks
There is not enough information in this question to correctly answer it, however, here is the formula you will need to find the amount needed to paint the walls only. If you have to paint the ceiling and/or the floor add the square footage to your Area(15 + 12 x 2) x y = Area Where y equals the height of the room.Check the label of your paint and determine the area in square feet of coverage. (ie. 400 sq.ft./gal) This is CoverageDivide your Area by Coverage to calculate the amount of paint needed
It depends how thickly you apply the paint ! Paint cans usually have a label stating a typical area that the contents will cover.
Paint guns will allow you reach all parts of your room by allowing you to spray a large area of wall with minimal effort. Instead of relying on a multitude of tools to paint your room, just simply buy one paint gun and allow it to work for itself.
