Nikola Tesla made ten main inventions that changed our daily life. Alternating Current, Light, X-Rays, Radio, Remote Control, Electric motor, Robotics bases, Laser, Wireless communications and Limitless free energy.
1093 patents.
If you're talking about DC vs AC, the man who found the most ways to use electricity and should be considered one of the founders of modern electricity is Nikola Tesla. Despite what many schools teach, Thomas Edison did not invent the light bulb. Nikola Tesla was the original inventor, Thomas Edison only adjusted it to be "sellable." Thomas Edison was an entrepreneur, not a scientist. He was interested in making money, not creating things. Nikola Tesla is practically the founder of all modern electricity, before Tesla we were using DC, which is direct current. This method was very inefficient, and required lots of power plants. Meanwhile, AC or alternate current, invented by Nikola Tesla, was much more efficient and it did not require a power plant every couple of blocks. Tesla even had a wireless version of the electricity - however Edison could not think of a way to make profit off of this, and therefore it was not implemented. To name a few of Tesla's inventions; radio, x-ray, radar, light bulb, remote control, electric motor, robotics, laser, and wireless. Many of his inventions were not implemented until later dates, and by people other than him over time who just did some tweaking.
I'm sure others was moved by the example of Tesla. Nikola Tesla is finally beginning to attract real attention and encourage serious debate nearly 70 years after his death. He was attacked by Edison, whom we are taught in school to revere as a genius. He was also attacked by J.P. Morgan and other "captains of industry." Upon Tesla's death on January 7th, 1943, the U.S. government moved into his lab and apartment confiscating all of his scientific research, some of which has been released by the FBI through the Freedom of Information Act. Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point of the universe. Throughout space there is energy. -- Nikola Tesla, 1892
what are some things invented in 1992
Tesla moved to the United States in 1884. When he arrived, he worked as an assistant to Thomas Edison, then in his late 30's. Edison had just invented the electric light bulb, but he needed a system to distribute electricity to houses. He designed a DC (direct current) system, but it had many bugs in it. Edison promised Tesla lots of money in bonuses if he could get the bugs out. Tesla took the challenge and ended up saving Edison over $100,000, which was millions of dollars by today's standards. Edison later refused to keep his promise. Tesla quit not long after that, and Edison spent the rest of his life trying to discredit Tesla which is the main reason why he is so unknown today. Edison was envious of him and instead of working a relatioship and working with him, the rest is known.
Nikola Tesla symbolizes a unifying force and inspiration for all nations in the name of peace and science. He was a true visionary far ahead of his contemporaries in the field of scientific development. New York State and many other states in the USA proclaimed July 10, Tesla's birthday Nikola Tesla Day. Nikola Tesla was a Serbian American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system.

My Inventions: The Autobiography of Nikola Tesla (ISBN 0910077002) is a book compiled and edited by Ben Johnston detailing the work of Nikola Tesla. The content was largely drawn from a series of articles that Nikola Tesla had written for Electrical Experimenter magazine in 1919, at which time Tesla was 63 years old. The series was republished as Moji Pronalasci - My Inventions, Školska Knjiga, Zagreb, 1977, on the occasion of Tesla's 120th anniversary, with side-by-side English and Serbo-Croatian translations by Tomo Bosanac and Vanja Aljinović, Branimira Valić, ed. It is presently available in book form, My Inventions : The Autobiography of Nikola Tesla, Hart Brothers, Williston, Vermont, 1982, with an 18 page introduction by Ben Johnston. Hugo Gernsback also wrote his own introduction to the series which was published in the January 1919 issue.
Nikola is best known for being a person from Croatia that invented the Tesla Coil and an AC power generator that changed many people's lives today.

Nikola Tesla's dad, Milutin Tesla, was a clergyman. Tesla's mother, Djouka, invented many tools for the farm and home. Djouka's intricate needlework was well-known across the countryside. Tesla would later credit his mother, not father, with his creative and inventing abilities.
Television came into being based on the inventions and discoveries of many men and scientists. By 1900 The word "Television" is first used. The Tesla coil, invented in 1891, is still used in radio and television sets and other electronic equipment. As you can see, Tesla had some part in making the television.

Nikola Tesla was a very modest man. Unlike his rival Thomas Edison, Tesla was very quiet about his inventions and kept to himself. Edison publicized his inventions, which is one reason why he is more famous than Tesla. Tesla had many phobias and quirks, like he was disgusted with jewelry and was obsessed with the number three. Another way that he was modest was that he was celibate. Even though many women dearly loved him, Tesla thought that by being celibate he would be a better scientist. He was a very quiet person and was never arrogant about his inventions. Not only knowledgeable in science, but also enjoyed things like philosophy and poetry. Edison received more credit than Tesla simply because Tesla never bragged about his inventions and was incredibly modest.
