If you're talking about DC vs AC, the man who found the most ways to use electricity and should be considered one of the founders of modern electricity is Nikola Tesla. Despite what many schools teach, Thomas Edison did not invent the light bulb. Nikola Tesla was the original inventor, Thomas Edison only adjusted it to be "sellable." Thomas Edison was an entrepreneur, not a scientist. He was interested in making money, not creating things.
Nikola Tesla is practically the founder of all modern electricity, before Tesla we were using DC, which is direct current. This method was very inefficient, and required lots of power plants. Meanwhile, AC or alternate current, invented by Nikola Tesla, was much more efficient and it did not require a power plant every couple of blocks. Tesla even had a wireless version of the electricity - however Edison could not think of a way to make profit off of this, and therefore it was not implemented.
To name a few of Tesla's inventions; radio, x-ray, radar, light bulb, remote control, electric motor, robotics, laser, and wireless. Many of his inventions were not implemented until later dates, and by people other than him over time who just did some tweaking.
the Victorians didn't use electricity but the light bulb did and it was the only thing that did. electricity
Thomas Edison did not invent electricity. He invented means of making use of electricity.
Static Electricity is very useful in many things we use in our everyday life. For instance, Photocopiers use static electricity to give the image or text a charge. The toner and the image have opposite charges because opposite charges attract. Static Electricity is also used in the ink. It makes the ink attracted to the places in which the information we need to be printed on the paper not where its supposed to stay white.
Several types of power were in use before electricity came to NY State. Examples: Natural Gas, Steam (from coal fired boilers,) Horses/Mules/Oxen, etc.
I have heard New York City was the first city in the world to use electricity. The second city was San Jose, Costa Rica. Then Paris.
He didn't event anything; he just found new ways to use electricity. Well technically he did event the Franklin stove and the lightning rod.
The ways that you can use electricity include heating and cooling your home. You can use electricity for things that include cooking, heating water, keeping food cold, and for entertainment.
Well, in some ways Yes. But in the other ways no. It can be good, it can be bad. But it is important that you reduce the use of the electricity
The New England and the Southern colonies both found ways to use the land.

I watch t.v and play games. We use tons of thing from the electrity
over 6000 million people use it around the world
No. The use of electricity by humans predate Bill Gates by decades. Thomas Edison was the man who was able to actually use electricity successfully, and there are many scientists before him who first found electricity in the form of static electricity.
There are many ways to save electricity. One way to save electricity is to be mindful of one's surroundings, meaning turn lights of when leaving a room or turning off items that are not in use. Another way to save electricity is to use items that use less electricity or have the energy star logo on it.
Two ways we use energy are for electricity generation and transportation. Electricity generation involves converting energy into electricity for various applications, while transportation involves using energy to power vehicles for movement from one place to another. The main difference is the end use of the energy, with electricity for powering devices and transportation for moving people or goods.
