I've been told by many elderly residence in Piqua,Ohio, that John Dillinger rob the largest bank in Piqua,Ohio at the time. There are bullet holes in the wall and ceiling to this day. He was staying in the Fort Piqua Hotel, which he also shot up. i m not sure it was dillinger but was thinking it was pretty boy floyd, dillinger did rob banks in new carliales and killed a sheriff in lima, but I do know my family dentist as a kid which his office was in the fort hotel piqua was shot while the dentist was in, several bullet locations can still be located with close observation

John Herbert Dillinger was born in Indianapolis, IN 6/22/03. At the time, his father owned and operated a small dry goods store in a portion of the city known as Brightwood. The area, once an independent town founded in 1876, was annexed by Indianapolis some twenty years later. Dillinger left Brightwood with his father and family around 1916, relocating some 15 miles south of Indianapolis in rural Mooresville, Indiana. Dillinger is buried at Crown Hill Cemetery on the near northweside of Indianapolis. Crown Hill is one of the larger facilities of its kind in the nation. Many famous and infamous personages have found their respective resting spots there. He's in section 44 in Crown Hill.
