everybody in my class text so about 30-35 people
You can. But to be professional, I wouldnt.
You should write the notes during class and then when you have free time such as lunch or break send the text. Having your phone out in class may attract the attention of a teacher and end up in them having your phone.
probably alot of people, well I definitely text alot in class
People choose to text in class because its the best way to communicate with your friends during school hours. Other people text because their bored in their classes.
If you are trying to text during class, this could become a problem for you. Most teachers want your attention on them and not your texting device. I suggest waiting until class is over to text.
Probably a hundred a day
It is not during class that they focus on there cell phones it is after or between classes From my experiences its done casually by a majority of students in classrooms. As in every 10 or so minutes they check their phone reply to a text then do work. The 5 minutes they give you to get to class doesnt really give you time to text(Walking and texting at same time = bad). (Source white school in canada)
kids should text because it is a way to communicate with friends and family members and if they get lost then all they have to do is text someone saying I'm in trouble come help I'm near.... blah blah blah. kids should text because they can because no one said kids can not text.
Yes I agree to that. That only during test. And Im searching this up for a project. So I think we shouldn't text unless during a test. But for a good reason, is that you can text a friend that is at the other side of school, so you don't have to travel so far.
with there thumbs
I dont think so.......My teachers do it all the time and Im only in 5th grade!
If people are texting, they are not going to be listening to the teachers. They may also distract others who are watching them or who hear the student that is texting laughing or speaking to someone or showing them the text. This is a distraction for the class and for the teacher, so students should not text during classes.
