I'm not sure about the actual number of trains or 'transports', but in all about 10,000 children reached Britain safely. (Incidentally, it was not always a matter of whole trainloads of children, but often a few carriages on regular, scheduled train services to Hoek van Holland). The first transport left Germany on 1 December 1938 and the last direct transport left Prague (then under German rule) on 1 September 1939.
