How many litters can a rabbit have in 1 year?

The amount of kits (baby rabbits) that a doe (female rabbit) can have depends on the size of the breed and if it is the doe's first pregnancy.Smaller rabbits can have up to 2-4 kits.Medium sized rabbits can have up to 4-8 kits.Larger rabbits can have up to 6-15 kits.A doe who is giving birth for the first time may give birth to 1-2 kits.It depends greatly on several factors, but the #1 factor is size.1-16 babies per litter:Dwarf breeds: 1-4.Small breeds: 3-6.medium breeds: 5-9.Giant breeds:7-15 or (rarely) more.Older rabbits and first time mothers have fewer kits. Also, overweight and sick rabbits will have smaller littersA doe can produce 2-10 kits in one litter. But, you usually get 4, 5, 6 rabbits in one litter. Some rabbits can have up to 15 KITS!!3-16 babies per litter:Dwarf breeds: 2-4.Small breeds: 3-6.medium breeds: 5-9.Giant breeds:7-15.Older rabbits have fewer kits.Fore most 1st time mothers she will have 1 to 5. 5 being the most I've ever had and im a rabbit breeder. But 3rd or 4th time mother will have up 15. But most of the time only 6 to 12.It also matters on the buck some bucks have a low sperm count so the does will always have only 2 to 3.add:As a rabbit breeder I have never had does only have 1 kit in their litter. Dependent upon the breed of rabbit that is kindling, there are generally 4-8 kits born the first time. Older, overweight or sick bucks will father smaller litters. The same goes for older, fat or sick does.I raise Californian rabbits, and generally, my does have an average of 8-10 kits their first time, and 10 to 12 each time after. Most does can feed 8 -9 kits without any problems, the others should be fostered out to other lactating does.I also feed a lactating doe formula of feed for the entire pregnancy and add calf milk replacer the ten days before the due date. The calf replacer will give her a heavier milk flow and thus healthier kits.Rabbits usually have 3-12 babies ina litter, depending on the breed.about 7 i think !!Rabbits usually give birth to 2-10 kits in one litter. But, you usually get 4, 5, 6, kits in a normal litter.Baby bunnies in a liter usually range from 1-7. If your rabbit is giving birth for the first time it is usually a small liter. The size of a litter is dependant on the size of the parents. For smaller breeds, three to five is a normal litter. With larger rabbit they could have up to about ten rabbits. However, two of those will probably die if not hand fed because a mother rabbit only has eight nipples, and the weakest babies will not be able to compete for food.It really depends on the breed. Smaller dwarf or mini rabbits have about 2-4 babies but the larger rabbits have around 10-15, even more!!A single female rabbit can have 1-14 babies per litter but the average litter size is six.It varies but usually they will have around two to ten rabbits at once in a litter. The range (including all sizes) is 1-12, but it all depends on the breed of the rabbit. A larger breed can have about 1-12, averaging at about 8. Medium breeds can have 1-8, averaging at about 6-8. Small breeds can have 1-6, averaging at about 2-4.However, litters larger that 14 are very rare and seldom all survive because the doe can't feed them all. Litters of 1 or 2 do not usually survive either because there is not enough body heat in the nest (or sometimes the doe does not remember that the babies are there and forgets to feed them).
