That is entirely up to who is walking. a man in top shape can walk for the entire 24 hour period and cover 100+km in one day. Someone grossly out of shape or just not used to walking would be done after 1-2km.. It all depends on the person , the conditions, the terrain and the load being carried. As an example, the 50km walk can be done in under 4hrs but they are racing , a hiker carrying gear would cover average 25km a day, I do a run and walk combo for about 20km and it takes me 3 hrs but I only go in optimum weather and I wear 10 grams of clothes.. Anyone in decent shape with the right shoes and climate should be able to cover 20km a day..
It has two factors; are you expecting any weight reduction by walking or you just simply walking? If you want any weight reduction, you would need to walk as per your weight loss goals else you can walk as per your physical strength and stamina levels.
how many km's you walk will be proportional to how many mm's you eat.
You will walk 8.04672 km
You can walk 1 km in 6 minutes if you can walk a mile in 10 minutes.
sure it does
9/6 hours To walk 9 km at 6 km/hr will take one and one half hours.
That surely varies a lot from one person to another. If you assume that you walk an hour a day, and you don't walk particularly fast, you might walk 5 km per hour, and therefore 5 km per day. That would be roughly 1800 km per year. (Rounding is appropiate here, since we don't have very accurate figures to begin with. Perhaps I better round it to 2000 km/year.) If you estimate that you walk 1/2 an hour a day, or 2 hours a day, you can scale the results accordingly.
depends who it is
Yes. Assume you live to 70 and walk considerable distances from 10 to 70 thats about 1600 km a year or 5km a day. A person with a dog would walk that easily even if they didn't move for the rest of the day. A normal person is advised to walk for 30min (3 to 4 km) a day as exercize and most people would meet this moving around their house or office.

Last Friday I went for a walk in the countryside with my wife and we covered about 17.2 km in about 3 hrs 50 mins (of actual walking time) which is a speed of approx 4.5 km/h and means in 50 mins I can walk about 3.75 km.
