This number will change on a regular basis, since presidents often sign bills in law; but unless the bills are considered high-profile, they may not be reported upon by the media. The most reliable site for finding out which bills were signed is the official White House page, which lists all the bills by name and when the president signed them. I enclose the link.
This is a difficult question to answer, since presidents are constantly proposing ideas and making policy decisions that they want turned into law. Often, the media (and politicians themselves) will refer to a president's policy agenda items as "bills", giving the impression that the president is the one who creates the laws; but actually it is congress, the legislative branch, that creates the bills and passes them; the president can then sign them into law (or veto them, if he chooses). The president will often propose something he wants to become law, and it is then brought to congress, which turns it into a bill and votes on it.
President Obama, like all presidents before him, has made his party and the congress as a whole aware of his policies and what he would like to see passed. He has been very vocal about his policy agenda, some of which has been enacted (health care reform, Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, etc), and much of which has been blocked by the current gridlock in congress. For example, he has spoken of his "Jobs Bill"-- a series of policy proposals that were brought before the congress in 2011 but were blocked by the Republicans. (It should be noted that legislation is often blocked by one party or the other. Getting a compromise has become increasingly difficult over the past several decades.)
In his first term, President Obama rarely vetoed any legislation-- he issued only two presidential vetoes.
