How many lb do adult Yorkshire Terriers weigh?
Anywhere from 3 and a half to 5 pounds. Any less or more than that and they have a weight problem
Yorkies are a a type of canine, otherwise known as Yorkshire Terrier. Yorkshire Terriers may be found at a variety of locations. Some animal shelters or humane society locations have abandoned yorkies in dire need of homes. Additionally, a person may locate a nearby breeder of Yorkshire Terriers. Finally, newspaper classified advertisements contain pet ads, and many people sell their Yorkshire Terrier dogs in this method.
From the word 'pound' for food I highly suggest you either talk to your vet or go to a good pet store and ask for some good information on your little Yorkshire Terrier. They should only be fed about 1/4 cup of food in the morning and at your dinnertime and lots of fresh water. Still, get a book on Yorkshire Terriers from the pet store and learn more about your little dog.
There is only one Yorkshire Terrier. Many irresponsible breeders call their dogs, ''Teacup-Yorkies'' or ''Toy Yorkies'', but Yorkshire terriers are already only 3 to 7pounds, so there aren't any 'teacups'. There is also the 'Biewer Yorkie'' which is simply mis marked Yorkshire Terrier, that, because it cannot be show (its color is a disqualification) should not be bred.
I wouldn't recommend it. Yorkie's love warm environments, where its not to hot... not to cold... more like room temp. Yorkie's are more of an inside dog. But don't get me wrong they love there walks and to play outside also. But not to live. NO NO NO!!!!! There are WAY too many dangers! It is an INSIDE DOG!
This is a very difficult question to answer, simply because there are several breeds and crossbreeds which can fall into the category of Staffordshire bull terriers and this can create confusion. For example Pitt Bull terriers, American Staffordshire bull terriers and English Staffordshire bull terriers are three separate breeds, but would generally not be distinguished in reports if a dog has killed a human. Then there are also many crossbreeds who would also be classified…
A terrier is a term used to describe many breeds of dogs, such as Jack Russell Terriers, Welsh Terriers, Scotties, Sealyham Terriers, etc. The American Pitbull Terrier is a type of terrier, a terrier is not a breed, it is a type of breed. Terriers were bred to hunt vermin and sometimes bait bulls. :)
