A civet is a lovely medium sized mammal of the family Viverridae. There are several different genera and more than several different species. Each looks something like a cat with a smidgen of, say, an ermine or ferret mixed in along with a little bit of lemur. As such--and as is common to all mammals--unless there has been some sort of untoward accident, a civet has four legs.
Oddly enough, this was a difficult answer to find. I had to work backwards from what I thought it would be [and was correct, a baby civet is called a kitten]. On the other hand, the best information I found about baby civets called them just that: baby civets. I am going to link that wonderful page but I will also add that you now have what seems to be a professional choice, made by professionals in the field. You can call a baby civet a civet kitten or you can call it a baby civet. After seeing the linked page, I know what I would choose.
