Drywall anchors should be placed no more than 16" apart. On a 20 foot wall you should place approximately 15 drywall anchors.
In the United States anchors for wall shelves are rated in pounds. This weight is the amount that the anchor can fully hold. To be safe you should divide that value by 4 when installing shelves.
It depends. If you are anchoring a large commercial dock, the weight should be around 4000 to 5000 pounds, using multiple anchors. Smaller docks should be around 500 to 1000 pounds just using 1 or 2 anchors.
Either one will work, the type with holes will work better- HOWEVER- the real secret is having a good tiedown anchor, which the bricks alone will not do. This is multiple steel straps that run to driven ground anchors.
Your local home store will have anchors for cement that accept a standard size screw (probably a #10 or #12 for this purpose). You will also need the correct size masonry bit for the anchor which is usually stated on the anchor box. A plastic anchor should be fine but be careful not to overtighten the screw and strip the anchor. Use stainless or galvinized screws. Good Luck
Not really. The stem supports the rest of the plant. The analogy of an anchor should be referring to the plant's root system. The roots anchor the plant to the ground. The stem could be likened to the anchor chain that fastens the anchor to the boat, although an anchor chain has nothing to do with transporting water and nutrients.
You have to walk around the edges of the skull and bones of pirate isle. Everytime you see an Anchor or Ship Parts dig on it. You should end up with four or five.____________________________DiegoHugger________________________________

The ground wire should come from the ground rod and to the main electrical panel grounding terminal.
To ground it. Washing machine build up a lot of static electricity.
the length should be 8 times the depth of the deepest water you are planning to anchor in.
