We have swans in the lake by my house. We have been here for three years and each year, its been the female that incubates the eggs exclusively.
Both the mother and father swan work together to care for their young. The mother usually sits on the nest and protects the eggs, while the father helps to guard the nest and may assist in raising the cygnets once they hatch.
Usually a female has 2 cubs in a litter. Females typically produce 5 litters in their lifetime.
Swans do not drown ducks. Not on purpose, at least. They do not harm each other.
About 500,000 litters each month.
Vampire bats have a gestation period of about seven months, enabling them to bear litters once or twice each year. Each litter consists of a single pup.
they can live with each other but they do not neccessarily "like" each other but they are not arch enemys.
1.7 litters
there are an average of 2 to 8 pups in a Yorkie litter
The average female Norway rat has four to six litters per year and may successfully wean 20 or more offspring annually. The average number of litters a female roof rat has per year depends on many factors, but generally is three to five with from five to eight young in each litter. For more information about rats, breeding, habitat and control, please check out my bio.
They can have up to 8-10 litters with about 6 kits in each batch so that's........................48 to 60 kits per doe!Wow that's extreme!
4 litters per year, up to 8 each
