Depends. The memory capacity varies. Plus it is listed always on the flash drive itself. The memory ranges from up to 128 MB to 1 TB. MB=megabyte TB=Terabyte
MB is not restricted just to a jump drive. MB in anything means Megabytes, which is the measurment of data storage on any one device.
The "stick" you're referring to may be the device also called a "flash drive" or "jump drive".Different units carry anywhere between 1/4 GB and 16 GB of solid state memory,which shows up as another disk drive when plugged into a USB port. They can be usedto store data from the computer and carry the files around easily in your pocket or even on your key-chain.Geek-alert: Prepare to be astonished . . .Compared to the Apollo 11 guidance computer:Clock speed:Intel Celeron . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.2 GHzFlash drive top read speed . . 240 Mb/s = 0.24 Gb/sApollo 11 guidance. . . . . . . . . 1.024 MHz = 0.001024 GHzMemory:Current laptop . . . . . . . . 2,000 MB RAM, 500,000 MB HDFlash drive . . . . . . . . . . 32,000 MB RAMApollo 11 guidance . . . . 0.002 MB RAM, 0.064 MB ROM (2K, 64K)

Yes, easily.
well, i am assuming you mean apps like applications for a smartphone. for example a game like temple run (basic front scrolling jump and dodge) takes about 24 MB of memory. 1024 MB in a GB, so 1024/24=42.6 so in 1GB You Can install about 40 large games, give or take a few. now on the other hand we have paid apps like Minecraft: Pocket Edition. this game requires block id's, scripted code, and other MB eating processes. MCPE will take (this is a Guess) about 30MB or more, GTA3 is about 8.9MB. Overall you can fit a lot in a GB. id say(previous experience) i can fit about 60-75 game apps into a gb. so an 8gb ipod is ok for gaming on.

The purpose of a jumpdrive is to carry around a small portion of your computer's data right in your hands or your pocket. They are very helpful when traveling, and you can plug it into a hotel's computer (or any other computer with a USB connection). They usually come in these sizes: 250 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, 16 GB, and 24 GB--although you can get them in other sizes besides these. Jumpdrives can hold anything from videos to music to documents or even voice recordings. A general rule is that if you can save it to a hard drive, then you can usually save it to a jumpdrive.
It really depends on the size of each app. For instance: Modern Combat - Black Pegasus has around 500mb, whereas, an app like Doodle Jump has around 6mb. You could definitely fill up quite a few pages with apps. Whether it be games, productivity apps or whatever. !
Pro: It is readable by default in both Linux and Windows operating systems Con: 4 GB file limit. Fragments badly on larger drive use FAT32 for something like a jump drive, use ext3 with a windows driver or NTFS on main hard drive
