It is either 680 miles (to the SOUTH RIM) or 755 miles (to the NORTH RIM) taking this route:

  1. Take I-70 WEST, from Denver, to U.S. 191 SOUTH to MOAB off EXIT 182.
  2. Take U.S. 191 SOUTH to U.S. 160 WEST to KEYNATA in Arizona.
  3. Take U.S. 160 WEST to U.S. 89, past Tuba City. If you are going to the SOUTH RIM, turn left onto U.S. 89 SOUTH. If you are going to the NORTH RIM, turn right onto U.S. 89 NORTH.

If you are going to the SOUTH RIM, you will be taking this route:

  2. Take SR-64 WEST to the GRAND CANYON (South Rim).

If you are going to the NORTH RIM, you will be taking this route:
