Well, you take how many gallons there are in your tank and how many estimated miles per gallon your vehicle can have and take your miles per gallon times the gallons in your tank. Your average car should get at least 230 miles for all your tank space. Your average mile per gallon in my estimate would be around 25.

The light should be reset after each oil change. It is programmed to come on every 7,500 miles. I surely would Not exceed that.
