I have a 2003 Malibu with a v6 and i can go about 35-40 miles and that's with gas at $4.00 a gallon
15 miles.
After the low fuel light comes on in a 2002 Ford Explorer, you should be able to drive at least another 10 miles. The low fuel light usually comes on when there is 2 gallons left in the tank.
In my 2007 Ford F150 truck I drove about 30 miles after the fuel light came on.
Answer50 miles are left when the fuel light comes on in a Dodge Stratus.
Personally the most I have had to drive once that is about 60 miles. so I would say close to that.
you do not want to find out ! before the light comes on , head for the gos station, or you will be relaceing the fuel pump at a cost of $900.00 big ones......and that is just the price of the pump!!!!!!
Most vehicles' low fuel light comes on with one to two gallons of gas left. If you know how many miles per gallon your vehicle gets, just figure on one gallon to be safe. For instance... if your car or truck gets 20 miles per gallon, when the light comes on you should figure you have 20 miles AT MOST to refuel.
I am currently attempting to go 28 miles with .835 gallons of regular after driving 20 miles with the gas light on. If I don't right again I made it.
When the light comes on, you have about 2 gallons of fuel remaining in your tank. How far you make it depends on where and how you are driving. On the highway, maybe about 50 miles, in the city, maybe 40.
There is aprox one to two gallons left in the tank. So you probably have 25-40 miles to go.
It all depends on the calibration of the fuel level sensor. In general, the light means that you only have a gallon or two of fuel left but that amount is different for each fuel tank.
30 miles
