this depends on whether your car is a diesel or petrol and what year it was manufactured.
On a petrol model (all years) it is Peugeots recommendation that the belt be changed at 80,000miles but they also state that on vehicles with a lot of stop start driving ie. around town and school run type driving only, this should be halved to 40,000.
On diesel models Peugeot stated that the belt should be changed every 40,000 miles or reduced to 36,000 for short journey cars.
