Depending on a number of factors ( age, size, weight) there are approximately six quarts or liters in circulation in the human body at any given time. Compare with a Cat which has no more than twelve ounces ( a soda can) of blood in circulation. But again a Cat seldom weighs more than ten or l2 lbs.
