around 10
16 GB is a lot of space for small files like mp3. But 16GB is probably not big enough to hold a lot of software files. It can hold a number of movies as well provided that the movies are not on HD.
16/ 32 / 64 GB.
16 gb
1 or 2 if you have the 16 GB model stuffed with music and apps. Everything takes up some space on the iPad.
The average song takes about 4 MB of space, the average photo around 500k of space and the average movie around 1.5 GB of space. This means a 16 GB iPad could hold 10 feature-length movies, 4,000 songs or up to 32,000 photographs.
The size of a movie usually varies between 1 and 3 GB depending on the length of the movie and the quality of the picture. This would mean that 16 GB could hold between 5 and 16 movies.
Probably about 8, maybe 9.
It can hold up to 80 hours of video so I would say about 40 movies assuming all movies are around 2 hours long
The 16 in the description would be how much memory it has. If it says "IPad 16" then it is most likely an IPad with 16 GB of memory. A person uses memory for everything on an IPad from pictures to apps.
Normal movies is 90 minutes and an Ipod Touch 8GB has 10 Hours 10/1.5 = 6.66666666
As many as will fit in the memory. As every book is a different length, there is no definitive number. I would suggest a 16 gb iPad used only for books could hold at least 100 full length novels. As you can move novels you buy back and forth to your computer through iTunes, it doesn't really matter how many the iPad can hold at once. Of course, installing any apps, music or video will use up the same space.
This question can't be answered just by giving a number... (Apps have not one file size, it can vary from 1mb to hundreds of megabytes... ) An iPad with 16gb can carry a lot of stuff... It will take a moment to fill it with photos and music and apps... But the only problem could be movies ! Movies are really large files ! One movie can easily take 1 gb of free disk space. So 16 movies and your memory is full. Raf
