Fitted a new dash to my 1 series this weekend. Dashboard was perfect before fitting. After 2 days a slight mark indent has appeared already. Could it be the weight of the airbag unit? BMW dont seem to think this is a problem....very poor.
There are many websites out there that allows you to sell new cars and used cars. I would recommend auto trader, it has many cars and has a lot of information about them.
When dealing with any part of the airbag system my recommendation is to take the vehicle to the dealership where a train technician can install the new airbag and reset the system. This way if you install the new airbag and the system is not reset. It may malfunction in the event of a collision or it may charge the new airbag and blowup when connected.
