American League: The current New York Yankees started out as the Baltimore Orioles in 1901. They moved to New York in 1903. The current Baltimore Orioles started out as the Milwaukee Brewers in 1901. The Brewers moved to St. Louis and played as the Browns from 1902-1953. They moved to Baltimore for the 1954 season. The current Oakland Athletics started out in Philadelphia in 1901. They moved to Kansas City in 1955 and then to Oakland in 1968. National League: The current Atlanta Braves were the Boston Braves. They moved to Milwaukee in 1953 and then to Atlanta in 1966.
