Amazing ones. He wrote specifically in italian, and he produced greatly executed operas. His style was contrasting such as the dramatic Madame Butterfly, or Turandot, as opposed to the deep, and sublte love story of La Boheme. He was a genius and one of the best composers ever.
Puccini wrote ten operas, but one, Il trittico, was actually three one act operas...so perhaps you could count them as twelve total.
