3.7lbs
The system will take 30 ounces of R134a freon.............
The freon capacity for a 2000 Mercedes S430 is about 29 ounces. The 29 ounces would only be used if the system was completely empty.
I just checked with the local Advanced Auto in town and they said it takes 18 ounces of freon and 4.5 ounces of oil.
30 ounces of 134a when system is completely empty,
Connect a freon gauge and freon tank to the low side ac port. With the engine running and ac on high, open the freon tank to fill the system to the full line on the gauge.
If the system is completely empty then it would take 37 ounces if the truck has a single unit and 62 ounces if it has dual units...........
1lb.14ounces of freon 134 and 3 ounces of ester oil
You can add Freon to your 2001 Buick Century air conditioning system through the low pressure port. The low pressure port can be found on the top of the air conditioner compressor.
1 pound(16 ounces) 12 ounces. plus 4 to 8 ounces of compressor oil
Your answer may be found on the label on the a/c compressor. According to the compressor on my 305 V-8 in my 79 El Camino, the system requires 3.75 lbs of freon, or 60 ounces (5-12 ounce cans), plus 10 ounces of system lubricant.
