There's a different number of toes in the front and the back feet.
The back feet have 4 toes and the front ones have 5 (one is higher and doesn't make contact with the ground. The nail associated with this toe is called a dewclaw and is used for grooming and hunting).
Each foot has one foot pad and one pad per toe. That makes 5 pads in the back and 6 pads in the front legs.
