It's about this girl named Bethany who moves to her Aunt's house because her father says that shes in danger. When living there, she finds out who a person named Elizabeth is. Elizabeth is really her sister. They both look exactly alike. But she died before Bethany was born. Bethany's aunt tells Bethany how Elizabeth liked the same things Bethany liked. She can barely contact her parents. But she gets to talk to her mom who has been crying a lot. Her mom still thinks that Elizabeth is still alive. So thinking that Bethany is Elizabeth, Bethany finds out that she's a clone of Elizabeth. Bethany's mom and dad agreed to make a clone of Elizabeth so they wouldn't miss her. The only difference about her and Elizabeth is that Elizabeth hates swimming while Bethany loves to swim. Bethany finds out that her mom cried a lot because it was near the day when Elizabeth died and since Bethany is a clone, she thinks that she'll die too. In the book, all Bethany really does is find out about Elizabeth and her past.
