The former 'Cunard' liner QE2 had 12 passenger decks. In fact she still has 12 passenger decks, although she doesn't carry passengers any longer, being under new ownership and permanently docked in Dubai.

Although she was launched in 1938, Cunard's QUEEN ELIZABETH was immeadiatlty used for operational service during WW2 before she could make a journey as a liner. she was returned to Cunard at the end of the war and made her maiden voyage as an ocean liner on 16 October 1946.

"RMS Queen Elizabeth" (1940-1972) was destroyed by fire in 1972. Up until 1969 she was owned by the famous Cunard Line. Her replacement, "Queen Elizabeth 2", was also operated by Cunard from 1969 until 2008 but is now owned by Isithimar, part of Dubai World. The new Cunard ship "Queen Elizabeth" is not an RMS and is once again owned by Cunard. Cunard have been owned by Carnival Corporation since 1998.
The most famous Cunard ship is the Queen Mary 2. They also famously own the Queen Elizabeth 2 and Queen Victoria.
