It varies dependong on the strength and size of the tornado and where and when it hits. Most tornadoes do not cause any injuries because they are weak or do not hit a densely populated area. Most that do injure people do not cause more than a handful of injuries. However, some tornadoes will cause dozens, even hundreds of injuries.
