Most cruise ships will now have twoofficers on the bridge and two lookouts/helmsen on watch at any time for routine sailing. Each day is divided up into 3 different watches 4-8, 8-12, 12-4. So there is 6 Watchkeeping officers and 6 watchkeeping lookouts/helmsan. And for arrivals and departures or any other time when needed the Captain, staff captain and senior first officer will come on the bridge to enhance the manning.
