It is estimated that a third of the world's population considers themselves Christian.
Baha'is definitely believe that Jesus was crucified.
No I believe in Jesus who died on the cross for you, me, and everybody.
Jesus crushed whatever he choosed to crush... ANSWER: Jesus crushed the head of the serpent (Satan) when he died on the cross and was resurrected the third day. Satan has no power over those who belong to Christ but Satan has a strangle hold on those who do not belong to Jesus.
To fulfill prophecy & knowing that all things were fulfilled concerning him.
You must repent of your sins , and believe that Jesus did die for your sins on the cross.
The premise for the question is all wrong as it assumes Satan or the Devil had any control in the destiny of Jesus Christ. Matthew pointed to Jesus as the royal Messiah who faced His destiny in complete control of the situation. For Matthew, the cross inaugurated the last days when the power of death is broken and salvation is poured out on all people. Jesus called Satan the "ruler of this world" but only as He spoke of Satan's judgment and defeat (John 12:31; 16:11) because he does not have power over Jesus (John 14:30). Jesus came into this world to "destroy the works of the Devil" (1 John 3:8). The Cross was a decisive victory or Satan and Satan's host (Col. 2:15). This victory ensured that countless numbers would be delivered from the dominion of darkness and transferred to the Kingdom of Christ (Col. 1:13).
Yes, members of the LDS faith believe that Jesus died on the cross as part of his atonement for the sins of humanity.
Yes, it was! Jesus gave up his life so we could live, if he didn't die on the cross I guess we wouldn't live. People who do believe in Jesus do have a prayer that talks about this situation why don't you read it? What do you believe?
No, Mormons believe that Jesus was crucified on a cross, just like most other Christians. Mormons believe and study the Bible throughly, so the accounts there are what we believe. Mormons dont however use the cross as a religious symbol like many other religions... Perhaps you are thinking of the Jehovah's Witnesses? They do not believe that Jesus died on a cross.
It was not a pleasent time for Jesus. He had been in the desert for forty days and nights with no food or water. He must have been weak, not only from His fast but also from being in the presence of Satan. If nothing else, Satan was hoping to wear Him out. But Christ held firm and defeated Satan on the cross.
Some people believe that Jesus, the Son of God, died on the cross to save people's sins. Going to the Stations of the Cross gives people an idea on how good Jesus was when he gave his life to save ours. When you go there, you realize if Jesus saved our lives, we owe them to him, and should always respect that.
Nothingnegates Jesus' death on the cross.
