Madame Tussauds, a popular wax museum, sees millions of visitors each year, with exact numbers varying annually. The London location alone attracts over 2.5 million visitors annually, making it one of the most visited tourist attractions in the city.

Madame Tussuands Wax Museum is recognized as one of the most famous wax museums in the world. The wax museum is located in New York, New York and includes wax statues of many of the most famous people in history.
Marie Tussauds ( her mother) was skilled in wax modelling. Curtius taught Tussaud the art of wax modelling. Tussauds created her first model (Voltaire-an writer) in 1977. Later during the french revolution she modelled many prominent victims and this increased her passion of wax modeling. Later she traveled across Europe to explore her art of wax modeling.
The best places in Dusseldorf for vacation with places like Madame Tussaud's are Grafenberg am Ostpark, Ferien im Kutscherhaus im Rheinland, and many others.
There were 13 wax Figures of Michael Jackson made by Madame Tussauds by the time of his death on 25th June 2009. However Madame Tussauds unveiled three more new MJ wax works on 24th June 2013 in remembrance of the King of Pop. So I guess they are about sisteen now however they could be more, I am uncertain of the total value.

When I went there I asked about Doctor Who waxworks and they said that Doctor wasn't international enough! They really need to do their research, the idiots! Doctor Who is broadcast in about 50 countries, for goodness' sake! Anyway, I complained but I don't know how much of a difference that will make. Luckily for several Doctor Who actors, like David Tennant, they are also known for things outside Doctor Who so they may get waxworks because if being famous for so many things! But let's just hope these people at Madame Tussauds find their brains, and soon!

London's Famous Baker Street Museum "Madame Tussauds", was opened in 1835. this was the first of many to be established all over the World.
