When the cathedral in Florence was designed it was the hope that it would hold the cities population of 100,00 people. However, when the church was complete only 30,000 people fit inside.
Many people.........about 10,000...i think
To keep people out that are not supposed to be inside of the logics. If people get inside of the Logic gates, they could cause havoc to the people inside of these gates.
one who takes care of the church!! First of all a cathedral is a cathedral and is never called a church. Cathedral and church officials vary, and could be deans, archdeacons, etc..it is a committee that takes care of religious buildings,
Florence, Italy is a beautiful spot right in the middle of Tuscany. The city is home to the statue of David, dozens of beautiful cathedrals, exquisite restaurants, outstanding bridges and beautiful plazas filled with art, statues, obscure little shops and amazing views. Though Florence is small - visitors can realistically walk from one end to the other in an hour - it is filled with delightful little corners that make it memorable, unique and worth visiting, and then returning to, again and again. Cathedral of Florence The most famous church in Florence, this cathedral was finished in the 13th century. The picturesque green, white and pink marble has exquisitely-shaped doors and windows. The Cathedral’s Dome was finished much later and has beautiful frescoes. Visitors who would like a slightly different viewpoint can climb the steps of the bell tower, which provides astounding views of Florence and excellent photo opportunities. St. John’s Baptistery is also just outside of the cathedral. It’s once golden doors represent the Biblical Gates of Paradise. Inside, the ceiling is detailed mosaics depicting the Biblical account of creation. Other famous Cathedrals and churches in Florence include: *Santa Croce: A neo-Gothic cathedral, also built from marble *Santa Maria Novella: This Gothic cathedral was completed in 1348 and it’s near the main bus station in Florence. Ponte Vecchio Spanning the River Arno This is the city’s oldest and most-famous bridge, and it’s also one of the most famous bridges in Italy. Houses are built along either side of the bridge, where shopkeepers sell gold, jewelry and various trinkets. Sculpted by Michelangelo, it sits in the center of the Academy Gallery. Various replicas exist around Florence, including in the Piazzale Michelangelo. The city is easy to get around in and the natives are friendly. For a vacation, it could be perfect.
Show who you are on the inside.
Cathedrals were originally an expression of sexual frustration in the early 7th Century, however they developed into a place of religious enlightenment. This change was brought about by the horny vicar's going to Cathedrals to pray for hot single Russian girls to make love to. (these same Russian girls are now available on sites, such as redtube)
A cathedral as a large religous building. Some people could say that it is a large church. It is also what allows a town to become a city.

It is a wonderful cathedral and could be considered a symbol of hope. I had a lot of hope as I climbed the stairway to the dome.
The tone of the bell resonated in the halls of the cathedral.
1500 people fit in the Globe Theater.
