There is one Oblivion game.
there is 1 oblivion game with several expansions, HOWEVER, if you mean elder scrolls there are 4 Oblivion is number 4, there was the classic Morrowind for PC and xbox which uses an older version of the same engine oblivion uses so yeah that's right no loading screens in fact i think morrowind was even bigger than oblivion and many people prefer it to oblivion, there was also "Daggerfall", the older but massively bigger one (it was randomly generated every time you played) and the first game in the elder scrolls lineage was "Arena" was also randomly generated.
Fallout 3 was created by the same people, Bethesda Studios. Many call it "Oblivion with guns."
The Lord's Mail is not in Oblivion. In Morrowind there is a book that describes many of the artifacts you can get in the game. Bethesda put this book in Oblivion too, though many of the items do not appear in it. So you could only ever get the Lord's Mail in Morrowind (and Arena + Daggerfall).
Not in the stock game. If a competent modder was determined enough, he/she could create a 'companion' mod with relationship dialogs. There are many companion mods, but I don't know of any in which you can have a relationship, at least not a deep one.
Yes, it is a great game if you are into RPG's and exploring, In Oblivion you can be many different things. A stealthy thief or assassin, a powerful mage, a mighty Warrior, or you can even be an arena champion, or you can be all of those. I have been playing oblivion for about 6 months now and i still really enjoy it.
It's because the game can't load so many items at once.
Yes. I use it, and many other people use it and will tell you the same.
Glaring Through Oblivion has 128 pages.
There are no living orcs in Oblivion in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. However, there are many orcs throughout Cyrodil that you can find while not within one of the Oblivion gates.
"Approaching Oblivion" by Harlan Ellison has 208 pages in the paperback edition.
As good as it is, it was still a huge step back in many ways, compared to Morrowind.
