The Korean War was fought between its start on June 25, 1950 and the signing of the armistice on July 27, 1953. Technically the war is still going on since a peace treaty was never signed.

The Republic of Korea (South Korea) - 137,899 killed

D.P.R.K. (North Korea) - 215,000 killed

United States - 36,516 killed

United Kingdom - 1,109 killed

China - 183,108 (official data) (US estimate 400,000+ killed)

Multiple other nations were involved and in total over 778,000 soldiers were either killed or wounded on the South Korean & allies side. The North Korean & allies side had over 1.1 million military casualties.

There were also many civilians who were killed or wounded.

S. Korea - 373,599 killed, 600,000 wounded/missing

N. Korea - 1,550,000 killed, wounded/missing
