Rockefeller Center is one of the most well known locations in New York City. Among other things it houses NBC studios as well as an ice rink. When the center was first built, there were no workers who died during the original construction.
During the construction of the Rockefeller Center, which took place from 1930 to 1939, it is estimated that around 3 workers died. Safety measures were not as stringent as they are today, but the number of fatalities was relatively low compared to other large construction projects of the time.

During the construction of the RCA Building, now known as the GE Building at Rockefeller Center, it is estimated that around 3 workers died. The project took place during the Great Depression and was notable for its scale and the safety measures implemented at the time. While any loss of life is tragic, the number of fatalities was relatively low compared to other large construction projects of that era.
