Anne Frank died in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1945. While she was separated from her family at the time of her death, she was not alone as there were many other prisoners in the camp with her.
Life for Anne frank was horrible because of the world war 11. There was lack of food and medicine so many people died of starvation and deceases or being captured by enemy troops.
Anne Frank and her family were not directly sent to death camps, but to concentration camps with many prisoners. Anne ultimately died in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp due to illness and poor conditions. Death camps were specifically designed for mass extermination, such as Auschwitz, where millions of people, including Jews like Anne Frank, were systematically murdered during the Holocaust.
Even thought Anne must have been starving, that isn't was killed her. The camp she was in was infected of typhus and both her and her sister got it. Margot (Anne's sister) died first and Anne, a few day later.
