I tried to find this information for you so I went to pages that showed the Demographics of the population of New Zealand. The facts were not given for people with disabilities. I did find out that the population is 4,290,347, that 20% of the population is 0-14 years old, 66.4% are 15-64, and 13.3% are 65+. If you speculate from this data I think you might be able to estimate that the number of disabilities would be highest in the 15-64 age group. Depending on how you define disabilities would also change the numbers for each group. A person wearing glasses or a hearing aide could be considered with a disability as well as a child with mental or physical problems. I did learn that only 1% of the population has HIV, which could also be considered a disability.
