looking at it from an optimistic point of view? no... and yes. see, some people believe that if we couldn't test things on animals, we would have to test them on humans, and no one would voluntarily give up their lives to help other people, so they just use the innocent lives of animals to cover for them. they think they need to continually test on animals so we can use cosmetics. little do they know they can do it all through technology, here in the modern world...

i think humans are superior then animals because if we didn't have animals to test on then we would have to test on our selves and more human would die from the chemical test and animals need humans to live so they can live.
