That's not really something you can tell because not everyone will admit to texting and driving. If you take the estimated amount of people that texted while driving in 2008, see how many deaths there were from texting while driving, put that as a percent, then subtract that percent from 100%, you'll get the percent of the people that survived and an approximate number.
