I dont think that Henry VIII himself was a murderer, but he had many many people burned at the stake during his reign

Henry VIII is believed to have executed around 72,000 people during his reign as King of England.
Historians estimate 50,000 people died during the reign on Henry VIII. It is interesting that his daughter, Queen Mary I, earned the name "Bloody Mary" when she burned an estimated 300 people-including women and children-for hersey as compared to her father's estimated 50,000.
