Sailed the boat with some of it's old crew back to North America. Created settlements in todays Newfoundland and Baffin Island. Eric died, Lief took over as Chieftain in Greenland. Eric, Lief and Liefs mother Thjodhild buried near a church, dug up in the 20th century and today lies in Copenhagen.
